Penn Highlands DuBois Hosts “From Our Hearts to Yours” Event

In observation of American Heart Month, Penn Highlands DuBois is hosting “From Our Hearts to Yours” a community event focused on heart health, preventive care and celebrating the people and moments that inspire people to live healthier lives.

The event will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM with registration beginning at 5:00 PM in the Founders’ Café and Grill in Penn Highlands DuBois – 100 Hospital Avenue in DuBois.

The evening includes sit-down dining, informative presentations by Penn Highlands Healthcare providers, interactive booths presented by some of the health system’s service lines, hands-on activities and more. Vendors from throughout the community will share details about activities and programs that help treat your heart with the care it deserves.

To celebrate American Heart Month, attendees are encouraged to wear red.

Tickets are $5 each which includes admission, dinner, giveaways, access to activities and an entry for an Apple Watch drawing.

Clearfield Arts Studio Theater, Inc. (CAST) announces auditions for John Steinbeck’s Pulitzer Prize–winning play, The Grapes of Wrath. The production will be directed by co-directors Julie Tobias and Gayle Gearhart.

Auditions will be held at CAST on Sunday, February 8, Monday, February 9, and Wednesday, February 11, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM each evening. Auditions are open to adults, as well as a limited number of students. Any adult cast must past clearances.  CAST is located at 112 E. Locust Street in downtown Clearfield, Pennsylvania.

Audition forms will be available at the theatre for participants to complete. All auditionees are asked to bring a written list of any scheduling conflicts beginning with the start of rehearsals, which will take place the Monday following Valentine’s Day, through the final two weeks of April. Performances are April 17-18 & 23-25 at 7:30pm, as well as April 19 at 3pm. 

Most rehearsals will involve smaller groups in order to focus on specific scene work. A detailed rehearsal schedule outlining which cast members are needed, for which scenes, and on which dates will be posted weekly.
