All Aboard for Murder on the Orient Express at CAST!
The Clearfield Arts Studio Theatre, Inc. (CAST) invites you to step aboard one of Agatha Christie’s most thrilling mysteries with Murder on the Orient Express, adapted for the stage by Ken Ludwig and directed by Dawn Deppe.
Performances will be held October 9-11 and 16-18 at 7:30 p.m. at CAST, located at 112 E. Locust Street in the heart of Downtown Clearfield.
This classic story begins just after midnight, when a snowdrift halts the luxurious Orient Express in its tracks. By morning, one passenger is dead, an American tycoon stabbed eight times in his locked compartment. Trapped on the train with a murderer in their midst, the passengers must rely on detective Hercule Poirot to solve the case before the killer strikes again.
This gripping production brings Christie’s timeless mystery to life with suspense, elegance, and intrigue.
During intermission of each performance, popcorn, candy, and other refreshments will be available for a donation to benefit the CAST Scholarship Fund, which supports young people pursuing arts opportunities.
Tickets are just $14 and can be purchased online at ClearfieldArts.org or in person at the CAST office on Thursdays from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. Seating is limited, so audiences are encouraged to get their tickets early.
CAST is a nonprofit community arts center dedicated to enriching the cultural life of Clearfield and the surrounding area.
Murder on the Orient Express is sponsored, in part, by Mosquito Creek Sportsmen’s Association.
Do not miss your chance to experience one of Christie’s most famous mysteries on stage. All aboard, the ride promises to be unforgettable!
