Community Cleanup Day Set for May 3 in Downtown Clearfield

Clearfield, PA – Mayor Mason Strouse and the Clearfield Revitalization Corporation (CRC) invite residents, businesses, and community organizations to join a Downtown Cleanup Event on Saturday, May 3, at 9:30 AM. Volunteers will meet at the Lower Witmer Park Pavilion to help clean and beautify key public spaces throughout Clearfield.

The day’s priorities include cleaning and placing mulch in the downtown tree beds, picking up litter in the parks, and removing trash along the river. A limited supply of garbage bags and gloves will be provided, but participants are encouraged to bring their own gardening tools and gloves if available.

“This event is about more than just cleaning up—it’s about investing in our community and making downtown Clearfield a more welcoming place for everyone,” said Mayor Mason Strouse.

Everyone is welcome—individuals, families, and community groups alike. No registration is required. Volunteers should dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes.

Let’s come together and show our Clearfield pride!
