Spending a day practising Qigong and meditation is wonderfully relaxing and revitalising. Taking time to immersion yourself in a day of practice that boosts physical, mental and emotional health will bring a twinkle to your eye and a spring to your step! 


Your opportunity to clear the mind, loosen the body and bring joy to the heart is coming up this next Saturday, 18th October. Practising the Qigong form, Clearing The Clouds, provides skills that enable us to push through our limitations and meet the unknown with courage and optimism. The spiralling, elastic movements help to clear away those clouds that obscure our minds and dampen our energy.


Do join me for this special day of practice where any clouds of irritation, depression or gathering winter gloom can be dispersed by our Qigong and meditation practice. We connect with our spacious open minds and calm kind hearts whilst enjoying the gentle power of Qigong and the peace of relaxing meditations. This will send us back into daily living feeling open-hearted and buzzing with Qi - life-force energy!



Qigong & Meditation Winter Retreat


If one day of practice can refresh our energy bank, imagine how five days spent practising in a beautiful location, dining on fresh organic food, sleeping in comfortable accommodation and in the presence of like-minded company can do! Especially in February when the lengthening days begin to dispel the darkness of winter and spring flowers are pushing through the cold earth bringing their jewel-brightness to the gardens and countryside.


In the enchanting tranquility of Trigonos we will gather each day in the under-floor heated Modron room with its spectacular views of Snowdonia to re-stock our life-force, Qi, our energy bank. Together we relax, learn and practice. Nicky Douglas, acupuncturist, is joining us to demystify the functions of those lines of energy running through our bodies keeping our Qi flowing, the meridians. 


February is a powerful time for deep reflection and moving forward with renewed wisdom. It is the perfect time to focus on boosting our health whilst cultivating inner strength through Qigong & Meditation as we prepare ourselves for the burst of spring growth of the changing season.

As the clouds clear, the light brightens and a vast, luminous blue sky is revealed.


Life often brings great uncertainty and information overload. This results in stress that clouds our perceptions. 


But what if you could clear the clouds and gain the courage and clarity to open yourself to your limitless potential?


The two days, Saturdays 18th October and 29th November, spent Clearing The Clouds takes us deeper into the philosophy and insights experienced in the Blue Dragon Qigong Form. Participants have no need to have learnt the Blue Dragon form to participate on Clearing The Clouds Qigong days. All are welcome.

Thursday Fortnightly Mindfulness Practice

Our fortnightly Mindfulness Practice is a tranquil time to refresh and deepen our peaceful practice.


This hour is a period of calm, replenishment and reflection. Some of the regular practitioners now take turns to guide these sessions.


These sessions are free. Any donation you choose to make (suggested £5+) goes to support a local Monmouthshire charity, the Abergavenny Food Bank.
