County Board of Supervisors Approve Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System

On March 11th, we concluded a 2 year planning and education period with the launch of our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System in partnership with Oracle and Deloitte. Following the County Board of Supervisors meeting, we signed the paperwork to kick off our implementation together with Oracle and Deloitte. The future ERP system represents a major milestone in the County’s commitment to enhancing transparency, efficiency, and accountability in financial management of the County’s $9.5 billion annual budget. By streamlining these key functions into a seamless platform, the County can better manage resources, ensure fiscal responsibility, and provide exceptional service to residents. County of Orange will have the most comprehensive and integrated ERP system available to county governments in the entire country with this state-of-the-art cloud-based system.

2024 ACFR & PAFR

The Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) is the audited financial statement for the County’s prior fiscal year. It is designed to fairly present the financial position as well as changes in the financial position of the County. Every year the Auditor-Controller releases the ACFR for the prior fiscal year ending June 30. An outside auditing firm is retained to audit the report. Download a copy of the ACFR here.

The Citizens’ Report (PAFR) is an important resource with invaluable insights into how public funds are managed and allocated to serve the residents of Orange County. By presenting complex financial information in an easy-to-understand format, we aim to promote transparency and foster trust in County operations. It highlights major financial achievements, strategic investments, and ongoing efforts to ensure transparency and accountability to the community. Download a copy of the PAFR here.
