Dear Members of the Diocese of Florida:
The Episcopal Church has a longstanding commitment to addressing clergy misconduct. Here in the Diocese of Florida, we are taking our own steps to increase the trust, understanding and appropriate transparency regarding the Title IV process. We understand that's a goal that won't be accomplished overnight, but we want to start by ensuring every member of the diocese understands the resources available to them.
Thus, today we'd like to share the Diocese of Florida's Intake Officers with you. They are listed below.
Intake Officers
A complaint can be made to any of the persons below regardless of the Diocesan area of the Intake Officer.
The Rev Sara Rich (First Coast Area)

These officers' primary responsibility is to obtain as much information as possible about alleged misconduct. That information includes:
- The identity of the clergyperson allegedly responsible for the misconduct
- A full narrative description of the incident or acts of alleged misconduct
- The identity of any witnesses
- The identity of any others who may have been victimized by the alleged misconduct
More information about our clergy discipline process and the role of the Intake Officers are now available on our website here.
As we continue to advance several initiatives forward, we ask that you please continue praying for one another and for the unity of our diocese. We're making progress, but there is much work to be done. Whether it's through Convocation, Convention or another occurrence, we look forward to coming together again with you soon.
Faithfully,
Your Standing Committee
The Rev. Teresa Seagle Mr. Keith Daw
The Rev. Sarah Minton Ms. Jackie Jones
The Rev. Justin Yawn Ms. Heather Prox
