City News Update
City Operations
The next City Council meeting is in person on Monday, December 20. The meetings will continue to be streamed live at 7:30pm and can also be accessed on the City’s YouTube channel. The agenda can be found on the City's website. You are also welcome to watch the Council Committee of the Whole meeting that will begin at 6:30pm and then proceed directly into the City Council meeting. Please use the same link noted above. Loose Leaf Collection Update
The Public Works Department will be completing the third and final leaf collection by December 21. Residents who have had their third collection should not rake any additional leaves to the curb or place out any yard waste bags. Leaf cleanup will resume in the spring 2022.

City Holiday Schedule
All City offices and buildings will be closed all day on Friday, December 24, in observance of Christmas Day. Trash and recycling collection will not be impacted by the holidays.

You have two options where to purchase Cleveland Heights merchandise (Centennial baseball caps, Centennial coasters, Cleveland Heights mugs, tote bags, and t-shirts while supplies last): at Made Cleveland Pop-Up in Coventry Village (1807 Coventry, formerly City Buddha) and online at https://www.clevelandheights.com/CHMerchandise. (deadline for online orders is 4pm on Wednesday, December 22). They’re all on sale now for the holidays and a portion of every sale goes to the Cleveland Heights Youth Recreation Scholarship Fund. Purchase pick-up for items bought online through the City of Cleveland Heights will be at the main desk of the Community Center.

Cleveland Heights Awarded ‘Bicycle Friendly Community’ Seal
The League of American Bicyclists has designated Cleveland Heights as a Bicycle Friendly Community (BFC) at the Bronze level. This award reflects Cleveland Heights ongoing effort to make alternative transportation accessible. To read more about this award, visit bikeleague.org/community.
