Denison Park Playground Grand Re-Opening
|
|
The Denison Park Playground is designed for children ages 5-12 and was last updated in 2002. The new playground was made possible, in part, through a grant from DWA GameTime, the vendor for Denison Park’s playground equipment.
Last year, Cleveland Heights City Council approved the capital improvement for a 2022 installation of a new playground at Denison Park. While the playground’s original swing base remains, the entire playground unit has been replaced. All remaining fixtures from the old playground have been repainted, and the City of Cleveland Heights placed 230 cubic yards of mulch at a depth of 12 inches throughout the playground to help keep children safe.

LAURIE BERKNER makes music for kids that parents love, too. This show is in the afternoon, so the whole family can enjoy it!
People magazine calls Laurie Berkner the "Queen of Kids Music" and the Los Angeles Times says "Laurie Berkner does what Fred Rogers did: Respect, validate, and reassure young children."
Laurie says, "I want to create songs that matter for children. I was singing once and saw a four-year-old girl shut her eyes and start swaying to the music. I thought, ‘That’s the reason I got into music.’ It keeps me wanting to do more.”
