While the cat is away… This week at… Barbara took a much deserved vacation…  

I’ve been clicking and clacking my keyboard trying to figure out what to write for this week’s newsletter and shop updates and despite several cups of coffee I’m no more inspired than I was yesterday or the day before. I think it’s best for me to just get to the point and deliver a short and hopefully newsletter on behalf of Barbara. Yes, she will be back in store this week, but no she isn’t the one writing the newsletter.

Fabric? Yes, we have been receiving fabric daily and we have a huge variety of new fabrics to inspire you and help you create something special for yourself or friends and family. I’ll be sure to pepper this newsletter with pictures of these new collections – from Halloween to Christmas to florals and peacocks! I’m amazed that after almost 14 years of quilting I still get to see fabrics that are fresh and new!

Bernina? This is a great month to consider “trading in and trading up”. What does this mean for you? It gives you the opportunity to trade in a smaller Bernina one with a larger throat size or perhaps better lighting. Perhaps you are ready to venture into the world of embroidery and your current machine isn’t embroidery capable. Now, if you are thinking what about me? I don’t own a Bernina… this is a time for you to come in as well. If you have another brand of sewing machine we would love the opportunity to show you all the reasons why we believe Bernina offers the best features and has the strongest history.
