NYC Announces Small Business
Resilience Grant Program
Applications are now being accepted for the newly-announced New York City Small Business Resilience Grant Program, which provides grants up to $10,000 to eligible small businesses to assist in recovering from the effects of COVID-19. Eligible businesses are those that:
Currently operate in New York City and have been in operation since October 1, 2019;
Can demonstrate at least a 25% reduction in gross revenue in comparable quarters in 2019 and 2020, or for the entire calendar years 2019 and 2020; and
Did not receive a grant from either the Shuttered Venue Operators Grant Program or the Restaurant Revitalization Fund.
Grants can be used for payroll and benefits payments, mortgage payments, rent, utilities or other operating expenses incurred between March 3, 2021, and December 23, 2024.
The Grant Program’s comprehensive application guide can be found here. Eligible businesses may apply online here, by first completing an application and then submitting the required documentation via the online portal, including an executed Application Attestation.
