Restaurant Revitalization Fund Sample
Grant Application Now Available
The U.S. Small Business Association (SBA) has released a sample application and program guide regarding the Restaurant Revitalization Fund Program (“RRF Program”).

As explained in our previous client alert, the federal government established the RRF Program as part of the American Rescue Plan to provide grants of up to $5 million (for restaurant groups, up to a total of $10 million across all locations) to eligible restaurants, bars, caterers, breweries, tasting rooms, and food trucks suffering business losses due to the coronavirus pandemic.

While the SBA is not yet accepting RRF Program applications, and has yet to announce when the application portal will open, eligible businesses that intend to apply for an RRF Program grant should begin gathering the information included in the sample application and review the program guide.

For more information regarding eligibility, grant amounts, the application process, prioritization, interaction with other federal COVID-19 relief programs, eligible expenses, public disclosure and taxability, please review the National Restaurant Association’s detailed Restaurant Revitalization Grants Frequently Asked Questions.
