Manager/Senior Manager, EHS & Facilities

Infinity Pharmaceuticals is an innovative cancer drug discovery and development company that is seeking to leverage its strength in small molecule drug technologies to discover, develop, and deliver to patients first-in-class or best-in-class medicines for the treatment of cancer and related conditions. Infinity's Operations group is seeking a team member to concentrate on Facilities and Environment Health & Safety needs and assist in leading the Facilities team in support of the company's drug discovery and development efforts. The ideal candidate has previous experience in facilities management in biotechnology and should be familiar with regulations pertaining to occupational health/safety and environmental issues especially hazardous waste regulations. Good communication and organizational skills are also required. Exact title and compensation will be commensurate with education and experience. Flexible schedule required. BS Degree in Science, Facilities operations, EHS or equivalent, 8-12 years relevant experience working in facilities operations and/or EHS is required along with an understanding of building systems, including HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems. RCRA, OSHA, DOT and IATA, HAZWOPER knowledge required with CHMM preferred. Previous vivarium experience preferred.

Regional HSE M&W Manager

They are looking for a local EHS Manager. This field position, reporting to the Field Director of HSE (East or West), contributes to the success of the Pepsi Beverages Company by enabling HSE risk management including: risk identification, evaluation, control, regulatory compliance, incident investigation, and post incident management in the dynamic industry of warehousing, direct store delivery and transportation. This leader is a HSE subject matter in the areas of Safety and Environmental in manufacturing locations and can clearly articulate, develop and support implementation of a risk-based, prevention program. Key responsibilities include coaching, developing and leading the HSE Field Organization in the execution of the Zero Zone/Global HSE Management System across all PepsiCo NAB locations, and also leading implementation of program elements/tools to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local OSHA/EPA/DOT regulations and applicable company requirements (i.e. Lockout, Haz Com, Machine Safety, SARA, RCRA, DOT, etc.). You will also provide technical and regulatory expertise in developing HSE continuous improvement processes and determining needed follow up activities associated with HSE incidents, agency inspections, and/or internal/external audits. Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering, Manufacturing, Environmental, Safety or related technical discipline is required along with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a manufacturing/fleet as an HSE professional. Extensive knowledge and experience with HSE Management systems and their deployment a plus. MA preferred, CSP, CIH, CHMM, and/or PE desirable.

Product Compliance Analyst

Univar is a chemical distribution company based in Downers Grove, Illinois. They are looking for a compliance analyst. This is a critical position in Univar's regulatory compliance department. The Product Compliance team serves as the regulatory gatekeepers for the company to ensure that products requested meet all facets of regulatory compliance before they enter the supply chain. Using a combination of computer holds and substantive knowledge of regulatory areas to collaboratively evaluate products, these roles are ever-evolving and involve flexibility and technical aptitude as Univar integrates our current technology platforms (UVX, EDX, SharePoint) with SAP and other software. The Product Compliance Analyst serves as a subject matter expert and as such, a resource to the Product Compliance team in providing regulatory/toxicology knowledge to properly identify and classify our ever growing database of products. Elements of this position include reviewing and analyzing new product requests from the field and use working knowledge of regulatory requirements to identify issues that need to be resolved. You will also classify and provide regulatory/toxicology data selection guidance for SDSs and Labels for new product blends. BS degree, Chemistry/Toxicology is required with an MS preferred. 5+ years' experience with regulatory review, interpretation and compliance (researching and reading federal, state and local regulations) is required. SAP EHS experience preferred. DOT, IATA, IMDG certifications a plus.

Regional Regulatory Manager - East

In addition, the candidate will coordinate strategies aimed at promoting sound regulatory compliance principles and practices, and develop and implement strategies that provide continuous improvement of the regulatory compliance programs. This position works collaboratively with other Regional Regulatory Managers and Regional Health & Safety Managers to collectively support field operations. As a field support position, 50% travel is expected. The idea candidate will be asked to secure and renew permits, approvals and plans for facilities; train field operations personnel in understanding permits and ensure that the requirements of the permits, plans and approvals are being met. S/he will prepare and submit reports; serve as regional contact for federal, state and regional agencies and provide training on and implementation of newly designed environmental compliance systems and tools. Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Health & Safety, Chemical Engineering, related field, and/or equivalent work experience is required along with 5+ years' practical experience with environmental and regulatory compliance, preferably within the chemical, pharmaceutical or related industry. Thoroughly familiar with all major federal environmental regulations (CAA, CWA, RCRA, FIFRA) and DOT hazardous material regulations. Familiarity with OSHA, FDA, and Homeland Security CFATs is a plus.
