Neighbors for
More Neighbors
Were you aware that four times as many workers commute into Ann Arbor than out of Ann Arbor every day? And that fewer than half as many homes were built in Ann Arbor from 2010-2020 than from 1990-1999? And that housing costs are making it hard for working class people to live in Ann Arbor? It’s all true, and more. We’ve got a serious housing shortage in town. There’s a new group in town which is working to address these problems, and it’s called Neighbors for More Neighbors. We will have two speakers from that group, Shannon Lay and Donnell Wyche, speak to us at our October meeting about their plans. Presented by Washtenaw Climate Reality. Zoom. Free.
