A Celebration: 32 Years of Difference Makers

Happy Spring, Neighbor!

This April holds special significance for us as we celebrate our 32nd anniversary of service to our community. Our future looks bright; from dental clinic restoration projects to planned vaccine efforts this autumn, Good Neighbor Health Clinic has remained a staple in the Upper Valley for care access through pandemics, financial crises, and changing circumstances for those who seek care despite their access limitations.

Since our inception, Good Neighbor Health Clinic has been committed to providing essential healthcare services to those in need, regardless of their circumstances. Our journey over the past three decades has been defined by the incredible generosity and solidarity of individuals like you, who believe in the power of healthcare to transform lives. Our volunteers, clinical and community, make our work possible and actively make our community a better place daily. I also thank our staff who work to pull these efforts together and do the most impressive behind-the-scenes work.

Thank you for your continued effort to change lives, one person at a time.

In honor of our 32nd Anniversary, we are thrilled to share the formal date of tomorrow, April 25th, as Good Neighbor Day of Giving!

This special day will rally our community to unite and support our mission of providing vital healthcare services to those who need it most. Through your generous contributions, we can expand our reach and impact, ensuring that no one in our community is left behind or without care.

You drive our mission - allowing us to make a meaningful difference in the lives of countless individuals and families. Let's continue building a healthier, happier community for all as we strive to make change happen.

With my heartfelt gratitude,

Elizabeth Austin, MHA

Executive Director

What is Our Goal for Good Neighbor Day of Giving This Year?

Help Us Reach Our Giving Goal of $16,000!

  • Building Dental Lab Fee Support - We aim to raise $7,500 to expand our dental lab funds, allowing for custom dental services like crowns or fitted partials for patients. This would allow greater access to essential dental care services for Red Logan Dental Clinic patients.

  • General Operating Support - We aim to raise $5,000 towards general operating support to sustain and grow our day-to-day operations, ensuring we can continue providing high-quality healthcare and dental services to our patients.

  • Medical Supplies and Patient Food Pantry Supplies - We aim to raise $3,500 towards restocking our medical supplies and patient food pantry, directly impacting individuals facing health challenges and ensuring they receive the care and support they need.

Staff Spotlight

Lori, Nursing Supervisor

Lori joined Good Neighbor Health Clinic in October 2023 and has made essential connections for our patients, strengthened processes, and gathered our team to lead thoughtfully through the medical landscape that so many patients have challenges navigating.

Lori's creativity, good humor, generous spirit, and dedication to making healthcare delivery happen have made Good Neighbor Health Clinic a well-rounded community for patients, volunteers, and staff.

We are so thankful for her leading efforts and making connections to strengthen our work.

Thank you, Lori, for all of your work in making our community a healthier place for all!

Volunteer Spotlight

Kim, Great North Dental

This month, we celebrate Kim! A native of the Upper Valley, Kim has been a driving force behind our dental work.

Kim and her husband Bill can be found spending time with family and friends, watching sunrises and sunsets, or hiking the 48 - 4,000-footers (she is on #29 of 48, by the way!). She has been doing dental lab work since 1986 and loves it because every case is different.

Kim is an incredible, dedicated, and gifted volunteer who deeply cares about our community. Creating unique dental crowns for our patients, she has been an incredible part of our work.

Thank you, Kim, for your support and efforts to make our community a better place, one dental case at a time!
