OUR MISSION

The Good Neighbor Health Clinics promote the health of people in the Greater Upper Valley who are in need and do not have the means to pay, by providing free medical and dental care, mentoring aspiring healthcare professionals, and advocating for improved access to dental and health care.

A Note From Elizabeth

A lot can happen in a year - all of us experience a time in our lives when we reflect on the days that passed faster than we imagined. Often when we face medical or financial challenges, days can feel like months and months like years.

Good Neighbor Health Clinics and Red Logan Dental Clinic started with purpose and mission in mind; with our bottom line being to serve those in need with the same quality care they receive elsewhere while removing the stress and stigma. This forged new paths for many patients, thanks to the incredible work of our volunteers who are willing to step in and make an active change in the community.

Since 1991, so many members of our community have been involved in facilitating our successes and services. We are extremely proud to be able to continue our collective legacy with a renewed sense of awareness and sensitivity to continually changing healthcare landscapes.

Our Lebanon Clinic location is completing its first year in operation, and we could not be more thankful for the outpouring of support we have received during the expansion process to increase health access and delivery for all our neighbors. With new clinics, increased specialties, and ongoing growth, our commitment to serve continues with the same mission and shared vision.

Thank you for taking the time to be a part of our journey and for your support as we continue to serve our friends, neighbors, and each other in times of need.

WHERE WE STARTED AND WHERE WE ARE

With more need today than ever before, Good Neighbor Health Clinics offers care from the original White River Junction, VT location while also offering Medical Care at its satellite clinic in Lebanon, NH, added in 2022. In partnership with other community organizations, Good Neighbor Health Clinics can provide resources for patients in need of items such as personal care, medical equipment, and medication. We will continue to build clinics based on community needs and will work to meet the health goals of each patient.

1992 - Dr. Paul Manganiello and Dr. Peter Mason began offering Primary Care and other services at the Haven

1996 - Dr. Bob Keene founded the Red Logan Dental Clinic

2001 - Good Neighbor Health Clinic and Red Logan Dental Clinic move to the Gates Memorial Library in White River Junction, VT

2022 - Lebanon Satellite Clinic opens its doors

Continuing to look into the future, Good Neighbor Health Clinics hopes to continue expanding the Lebanon clinic site and its programs through volunteer specialties and increasing our service accessibility in the community. As time goes on and healthcare changes, we anticipate many positive outcomes on the horizon.

Volunteer Spotlight

For the month of September, we'd like to shine the spotlight on our volunteer Barbara!

September Volunteer Spotlight:

Barbara H.

Barbara, a vocal supporter and volunteer of Good Neighbor Health Clinics has been volunteering for over 15 years. “The joy in volunteering here with Good Neighbor is knowing that the clinic is doing what they do for individuals in need in the community”.

Barbara's enthusiasm is infectious, and her willingness to step in and help combines passion with service. We are so grateful for her time, and her energy that simply lights up any room she enters. Thank you Barbara for all you do here at Good Neighbor Health Clinics!

Staff Spotlight

For the month of September, we'd like to focus our spotlight on Tricia!

September Staff Spotlight:

Tricia

Tricia has been working at Red Logan Dental Clinic since February 2021 and her experience has grown tremendously in her time here.

On top of working closely with the team, Tricia works to limit the barriers patients face in access to care. She has always asked thoughtful questions and can be found working with volunteer providers and students or working on equipment to help maintain order in our operations.

Thank you Tricia for all of your work and dedication to the patients of Red Logan Dental Clinic!

Clinic Updates

On Friday, September 8th, staff members participated in training to become certified in Mental Health First Aid!

On September 30th, find us at the Lyme Community Wellness Fair!

The Public Health Council of the Upper Valley will host a vaccine clinic at the Plainfield Elementary School on October 7th. This clinic is open to adults and children 10 years of age and older. For more vaccine clinic dates, please visit: 2023 Community Flu Clinics

Stevie, a dental extern from Tufts University, will be joining the Dental Clinic for the next few months. If you see her, please say 'Hi!'

Good Neighbor Health Clinics was recognized as Hannaford's August Bloomin' 4 Good recipient!

White River Junction Pride has been rescheduled for September 23! The festival and clinic will be held at Veteran's Park and Main Street Museum in White River Junction. Come visit the GNHC table for a water bottle and face painting! More information for the event can be found from the Main Street Museum's website.
