Helpful Notes: If you are unsure if a certain CPT code requires you consult the CDS mechanism, you can search the CPT code within the AIM portal and it will stop you if the study does not require it. You only have to access the CDS Mechanism for regular Medicare, not Medicare Advantage. Even if a test does not adhere, the physician can still order it. Make sure to provide us with the CDS number and the modifier MF. If you do not have the Clinical Decision Support Module in your AIM portal, go to your account and then user roles to enable it. If you don't know how to get to the AIM portal, use the link above. You do not have to provide the date of service to get the CDS number. You will need to consult a CDSM to get the CDS/AUC number for all advanced imaging studies scheduled after January 1st, 2020. We highly recommend starting to consult now using the AIM solution so you are familiar with the process.

Easily accessible from McFarland Boulevard, our location is just north of the Black Warrior River, with ample free parking which provides easy access to our clinic.
