Birth-related parameters are important contributors to autism spectrum disorders
Parental age and age difference are the most important contributors to ASD in this population. Birth order, sex of the probands, complications during gestation, birth weight, family history of mental illness, and birth history also contributed to the condition, although to a lesser extent.
