Vision Statement for the Clinton United Methodist Church
We gather as a loving community to worship God, learn, offer hospitality, and go forth to share Christ.

As a local congregation in Clinton and part of the Chamber, we want to be part of the community. We don't see ourselves as being off and separate, but we want to be involved in our community and where we can share our Vision Statement.

The main reason for inviting the Chamber members to the June breakfast is to share this with them. Too often I think some people believe that the church is one thing and business and school are separate. That is not our feeling. Our example, that we want to share that morning is how we have and want to share mission (or good works expressed by some) with the Clinton community. Our biggest example of this is " Rise Against Hunger" which we and others in the community are raising money for. It is our plan on September 29, 2018 at the Clinton School Gym, to put together somewhere between 40 to 50 thousand meals, that will be sent around the world. And how we as a community can help Rise Against Hunger organization with others to end hunger in the world by 2030.
