Four years ago, while campaigning to become leader of the UCP, Danielle Smith was asked what she would do about abortion, including taxpayer funding and restrictions on free speech outside abortion facilities.

Her answer? “Safe, legal, and rare.”

She was quoting Bill Clinton. She didn't mention his name.
