GasBuddy Reveals 2025 USA Gasoline Price Forecast


For the seventh straight week, the nation’s average price of gasoline has declined, falling 0.6 cents compared to a week ago, and stands at $3.00 per gallon Monday, the lowest level since May 2021, according to GasBuddy® data compiled from more than 12 million individual price reports covering over 150,000 gas stations across the country. The national average is down 7.7 cents from a month ago and is 23.2 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. Biden Bans Oil Drilling in Huge Coastal Areas Ahead of Trump Inauguration


The Biden Administration on Monday put more than 625 million acres of the U.S. coastal areas off limits for offshore drilling in a move that incoming President Donald Trump may find difficult to reverse.


President Joe Biden – using his authority under Section 12(a) of the Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act – is issuing two Presidential Memoranda to protect all U.S. Outer Continental Shelf areas off the East and West coasts, the eastern Gulf of Mexico, and additional portions of the Northern Bering Sea in Alaska from future oil and natural gas leasing. 2024 Saw Rapid growth for Biodiesel, Renewable Diesel


The U.S. is on pace to surpass 5 billion gallons of biodiesel and renewable diesel consumption for the first time, capping a 2024 that saw increased efforts from states to drive adoption, updates to technical standards, growth in soybean crush capacity and growing public support for clean transportation fuel.

North America's LNG Export Capacity is on Track to More Than Double by 2028


North America’s liquefied natural gas (LNG) export capacity is on track to more than double between 2024 and 2028, from 11.4 billion cubic feet per day (Bcf/d) in 2023 to 24.4 Bcf/d in 2028, if projects currently under construction begin operations as planned. Between 2024 and 2028, we estimate LNG export capacity will grow by 0.8 Bcf/d in Mexico, 2.5 Bcf/d in Canada, and 9.7 Bcf/d in the United States from a total of 10 new projects that are currently under construction in the three countries.
