Skills Fair -
All Employees
August 25, 26, 27

Make plans to attend the mandatory employee Skills Fair Thursday, August 25th, Friday, August 26th or Saturday, August 27th. ALL full-time, part-time, and PRN employees are required to complete various competencies.

The Skills Fair will be held on 3rd floor, Unit 5. Clinical staff are asked to attend when not regularly scheduled to work in your department/unit. You will be compensated for your time by clocking in and out upon arrival and departure.

Ongoing Town Hall sessions and conversations will also be conducted all days of the skills fair by hospital administration team members. You will have a chance to hear hospital updates and be able to engage by providing feedback, ideas and thoughts.

First Class of MercyOne Residents Graduate!
The MercyOne Psychiatry Residency Program founded and overseen by Dr. Khosravi, experienced a historic moment earlier this summer by graduating it's first class of residents. Drs. Tyler Van Milligan, Tony Tabish, Mehdi Goodarzi (Dr. Asma Khalid not pictured) are shown here accepting their residency diplomas at a MercyOne ceremony in May. We congratulate these providers and thank them for their contribution to our patients' care at Clive Behavioral Health the past year and a half.

Dr. Van Milligan will begin her post-residency career with Clive Behavioral Health. Dr. Tabish is staying on with MercyOne and provides coverage at Clive BH.

Services Wins Recipe Contest

In November 2021, while a Director of Nutrition & Food Services at a UHS sister facility, Doctor's Hospital of Laredo, Laredo, TX, Chef Jesus Ojeda entered a recipe contest sponsored by US Foods, Premier GPO and UHS. Jesus submitted three recipes and all were "winners!" The three entries were: Vegetable blend vegetarian soup, Grilled zucchini and squash with sautéed vegetable blend, and Grilled salmon and sautéed vegetable blend.

We're fortunate to have Jesus at Clive Behavioral Health!
Mask Wearing Continues...Always Wear a Mask
REMINDER: We continue to follow CDC guidelines for healthcare workers. All employees entering the hospital must be wearing a surgical mask (not cloth). All employees working in patient areas must be wearing a surgical mask (not cloth) at all times. Review the policy #9153047 via the PolicyStat link (https://uhsinc.sharepoint.com/sites/CliveBH) available via work computer home screens.

Surgical masks are distributed through the Nursing Department and some break rooms. They can be used for up to 5 days unless mask has become soiled, damaged, or otherwise ineffective. Staff members should notify the Nursing Supervisor of a need to replace their surgical mask as soon as possible so timely replacement can be arranged.

Failure to comply to this policy may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.
With limited exceptions, physicians are not employees or agents of this hospital.
Model representations of real patients are shown. Actual patients cannot be divulged due to HIPAA regulations.
