Letter from Tony Shawcross, OMF Executive Director
The City of Denver is making significant changes to Public Access. OMF and the City want YOU to have a voice in the process!
The Good News: The City Plans to establish a permanent home in the new Rocky Mountain PBS building, with funding for a dedicated staff person: two benefits OMF never received in our years of operating DOM.
The Bad News: Until this new facility is complete in 2020/2021, the City is calling for Public Access to operate out of the City & County Building, where access to equipment, studios, and training would be limited.
If you'd like to provide feedback, the City of Denver has announced an open meeting on Mon, Oct 8 at 3pm. Community members are encouraged to submit questions and concerns by 4 pm on Oct 9th

Questions will be answered on October 11th, and we will be hosting a member's meeting that evening to review answers and discuss what's next for Denver Open Media and our community.

7 pm, at Open Media Foundation (

Elevation Community Land Trust. Elevation CLT works to make homeownership more accessible in Colorado.

Studio Practice
Sharpen your studio production skills! Join us every
second Wednesday of the month from 6 to 8 pm

If you have a Studio certification, you can operate the cameras, audio board, lights, and more. Non-certified members can show up and watch, or get up on stage and practice their on-camera hosting.
In this no-pressure environment, you can hone your skills while making mistakes along the way.
