50 Billfish

The Viking 50 Billfish is the latest and largest in the series, delivering convertible-level comfort and the trademark fishability that defines the Billfish line. A versatile, owner-operator-friendly package, she’s built on the 50 Convertible hull and features a completely distinct cockpit/mezzanine, bridge, interior and engineering and mechanical layout.

One of the defining traits of the 50 Billfish is its enormous 170-square-foot cockpit – a size usually seen on much larger yachts. With cavernous fish boxes, a tackle center, drink box, and freezer and refrigerated storage, this space is tournament-ready from day one.

The fixed aft bulkhead separates the cockpit from the climate-controlled salon, creating a clean, functional transition between the outdoor fishing arena and the interior living space. The mezzanine has generous depth and comfort, with wide seating and integrated storage. A centerline door provides easy access to the salon while preserving the boat’s classic day-boat feel.

The 50 Billfish has a bold, unmistakable profile that blends classic sportfishing lines with a modern edge. The inset-style flybridge creates a sleek silhouette, reinforcing the Billfish’s identity as a day boat while preserving generous space and comfort topside. A distinctive sheerline runs from bow to transom, giving the boat a strong, purposeful stance. Along the hull and deckhouse, Viking’s signature feature lines add shape and dimension, capturing the aggressive elegance that defines the 50 BF.

Inside, the salon features a port-side lounge, a raised starboard dinette with rod storage and a forward split galley. The layout maximizes comfort and efficiency, with space for up to three Sub-Zero units and ample cabinetry and countertop space.

The lower accommodations include a forward master with a queen walk-around berth and a private ensuite head with a separate shower. The port guest stateroom features over-under bunks and access to a second head, which also functions as the day head. An additional open space on the starboard side, aft, can be configured for extra sleeping quarters with upper/lower bunks, hanging locker and nightstand (as shown above) or configured as a rod-and-tackle center.

The flybridge design emphasizes functionality and flow, featuring a clean layout centered around the walkaround helm. This area also includes a refrigerated drink box, guest seating and generous storage—all under the protection of a hardtop and ready for a Palm Beach Towers installation.
