Vaccines will be offered on a drop in basis. Bring your insurance cards!

Photogroup


Meet at BSAC to share photographs on The Subject, Camera Angle, and Telling a Story. Other topics will include: highlights from our Photo Safaris (bring your pictures to share); Chromoskedasic Painting; PhotoMicrographs; Camera Obscura; “Harvest Moon”; Color Perspective; use of Nicotinic Acid by Eastman Kodak; a use of aerial photography; and answers to questions posed on Photo Safaris.

Low Vision Support Group


This group provides a support group for those of us who experience issues with vision impairment. There is not a criteria for participation, and we welcome anyone who considers themselves to be sight impaired or have “low vision”. While many of the participants suffer from significant sight loss, and this support group offers recognition and support of the difficulties low vision may present in everyday life.

Meetings will typically include sharing of personal experiences and informative tips and discussion. Subjects of interest may be introduced by participants and guest speakers may be invited. This group offers a comfortable, accepting, friendly environment in which all are acknowledged.

Balance is the gateway to fitness, for without balance our ability to perform aerobic exercise through biking or walking/running are severely limited if not totally curtailed. So too, balance is the gateway to performing everyday functional tasks.

Looking for more help with Zoom, your cell phone or laptop? BSAC Tech Help Volunteers are ready to help get you started. Simply reply to this email and we will help you one-on-one support.

For some virtual programs, it is best to have a camera and microphone so you can be seen and heard for discussion and questions. Most laptops, smartphones, and tablets have them built-in. You can also participate without a camera or mic, which will work for the exercise programs.

Election Forums

The League of Women Voters conducts election forums for both primary and general election races. Forums sponsored by the League of Women Voters provide opportunities to hear from candidates as they respond to questions from a moderator. All candidates in contested races are invited to attend our forums, which are guided by our board-approved Election Forum Policy.

Senior Community Meals
Senior Community Meals are back in-person at BSAC five days a week, Monday through Friday, served from 11:30am to 12:30pm. A different meal will be served each day and there will also be a vegetarian option. Meals are also available to-go if you prefer.
