CLOTHING NEEDED FOR AFGHAN REFUGEES!
We have had an urgent request from WJCI and UJA to help collect clothes for Afghan refugees who have been sent to army bases in New Jersey awaiting further resettlement
Clothing will be collected during the food drive period:
Monday, September 20th - Thursday, September 30th.
The following Items and quantities are needed:
 
Mens’ Shoes or Sneakers
Sizes 6 through 10
Quantity: 150/150
New or gently used

Womens’ Shoes or Sneakers
Sizes 4 through 9
Quantity 150/150
New or gently used

Childrens’ Shoes or Sneakers
Infant through 12 years
Quantity 150/150
New or gently used

Infant strollers -FIRST PRIORITY AND MOST NEEDED AT THIS TIME
Not for toddlers, but only ones suitable for infants/newborns
Quantity 100
 
Winter coats Men, Women and Children – all sizes
Try to distribute evenly among gender and sizes
Quantity: 1,000
used
Bring your donation to Bet Am Shalom at the SAME TIME as you drop off your food for the food drive!

You can drop both off in one of two ways:
 
  • Outdoor Drive-Through Food and Afghan Clothing Donation Drop-off (we’ll be there to help unload!)
