Setting up this expanded network will enable CloudCoin to have even greater utility in retail environments, Worthington said.
Most of the traffic across the new expanded network will involve CloudCoins, which will be embedded in physical and digital products. This will increase the utility and value of CloudCoins.
A portion of all fees and royalties gained for using the RAIDA network will go into a pool and be split quarterly among Detection Agents for as long as they have the servers.
"This is going to be a disruptive technology. We have to create a data system that no one will try to take it down," Worthington said, adding that with over 800 locations it would be totally impossible for hackers to take down the system.
Worthington discussed other applications that would utilize the network, such as anti-counterfeiting chips embedded in physical goods, celebrity memorabilia and other collectibles, bartered goods, and many more. Digital currencies currently using soon-to-be obsolete blockchain technology could also switch to RAIDA or add RAIDA for an extra layer of security and privacy. Games and virtual reality/augmented reality experiences represent another huge potential for RAIDA because its the only technology that can be easily ported into and out of those applications.
The first nodes will ship before end of the year, Cefail said, and will be available in grades (Platinum, Gold, Silver) depending on the length of time the operator will maintain the node. The Pioneers-the first 100 Detection Agents to sign-up, will receive an added monthly bonus. To get more information about becoming a RAIDA Detection Agent, email
