Stop the Clock!

The Third Orchestra

8pm UK (UTC) thursday 5th December

We need a new time. To stop racing. To LISTEN

So tonight, songs, clocks, chimes, grooves, celebrating the sonic and human joy of

TRANSCENDING BORDERS

And maybe.. sometimes after the orchestra's shows people have said

they feel like they've been in a kind of TRANCE

Let's suspend time, find a new TIME

Dear Peter,

For all our far-away friends, we will be LIVESTREAMING this new show from the intimate Club Inégales, London, thursday. Click on the red button!

The Third Orchestra emerged from the 10-year crucible of the club. A 360° global orchestra - folk/classical/jazz/contemporary - I like to say, it's all the club nights in one.

I’m so proud to work with these amazing musicians. How should I describe them?

Eloquent dilruba Kirpal Panesar (India/UK) - Freewheeling violin Ján Kružliak (Slovakia)

Dark voice/nay Kalia Lyraki (Crete/UK) - Ultimate jazz sax Iain Ballamy (UK)

Heartful voice Emilia Mårtensson (Sweden/Slovenia)

Exquisite erhu Wang Xiao (China/UK) - Stunning pi’pa Lucy Zhao (China/Berlin)

Perfect cello Colin Alexander (UK) -  Powerful oud Bakr Kheilfi (Palestine/Berlin)

Mellifluous bass clarinet Luke English (UK) -  Mesmeric taegŭm Hyelim Kim (Korea/UK)

Fiery percussion Ant Romero (Spain/UK) -  Radiant bass Shri Sriram (India/UK)

Crunchy piano Matt Bourne piano (UK) - Mindful keys Martin Butler (UK)

This the last of an incredible series, thank you to all our wonderful guests and audience - and hope you are looking in on thursday.
