Please Note:

  • The Schnee Cafe event this Sun, Jan 11, 11:30-4pm, originally advertised a food sign-up. We are not requiring sign-up or reservations. Seating is open throughout the Clubhouse. All are welcomed -- see details & menu below.
  • To those coming to the NFL Playoff games, please note that outside food will be permitted at 4pm following the Schnee Cafe event.

2026 Membership Renewals:

  • We extend a grace period to renew through February. Beginning March 1, a late fee of $35 per person will be applied. Details and renewal links below. Please renew before Feb 28.

Club Bar & Dining Hours:

  • Bar Hours: Mon & Tue 4-10pm, Wed & Thu 4-11pm, Fri & Sat 4pm-12am, closed Sun unless special event.
  • Food Service: Wed-Sat, 5-8:30pm (1st Thu meeting night 5-7pm)
  • Outside Food is not permitted at any time on days the Club is serving food.

Touch Bistro Reservations:

  •  Reservations may be made up to 2 hours prior to requested time. Your table will be held for 30 minutes, after which time it will be forfeited. TouchBistro
  • You may reserve tables up to 8 people. If your group is larger, simply create a 2nd reservation and note in Special Requests that you would like to be seated together or near each other.

Please Note:

  • No dogs permitted on premises; all inside and outside areas.
  • Be prepared to show your membership card when requested.
  • Ask your guests to be prepared to show their ID.
  • Guests are permitted three (3) visits within the calendar year before membership is required. Note: the 3 visit rule is waived when a membership application is received.
  • Members are not permitted to enter the kitchen during dinner service hours. Additionally, if you have a project requiring kitchen use, reach out to Dave Kemmick to schedule.
  • Smoking on the Deck is limited to only those times when the ballroom is not in use for dining or any other event during cold-weather months of December through March.

  • Outside Food is not permitted at any time on days the Club is serving food.

Chorus Rehearsals to Begin

The Chorus is looking for new singers! It is not necessary to read music or speak German to join us, just have the willingness to make good music with German folk songs and other choral arrangements, all while making lasting friendships!


Rehearsals: Wednesday evenings at 7:00 in the Liederkranz Ballroom (through May). All men or women interested in singing are cordially invited. Contact Chorus President, Linda Husler, to learn more about joining the Liederkranz Chorus. She would love to hear from you!

The Movie Committee is delighted to announce our upcoming German cultural film schedule.


Movie nights offer an enjoyable way to immerse in German culture. Films are shown in the ballroom free of charge. Most selected films are shown in German language with English subtitles to ensure everyone can fully appreciate the story.


For those interested in dining prior to the screening, dinner reservations are encouraged. Free popcorn during the movie!

What is Karneval? Also known as Fasching or Fastnacht, Karneval is a festive season celebrated in Germany, particularly in the Rhineland, with parades, costumes, and parties leading up to Lent.

Our sister German club, Evergreen Country Club, is featuring Liederkranz member, Ryan Sheaffer, on their entertainment schedule.


Liederkranz members are invited to hear Ryan perform acoustical hits from the 60s-90s from 6:30-9:30 on the 23rd. No charge for entertainment. Dinner service is available.

Lancaster Liederkranz College Scholarships 


The Liederkranz offers German language college scholarships or German cultural college scholarships to high school seniors who are affiliated with the Liederkranz as children or grandchildren of Liederkranz members. Application and interview are required.

3) Online with our JotForm & PayPal or Credit Card.


Note: Please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope with a mailed form or the $1 mailing option with the online renewal; otherwise, you will need to stop in the Club to pick up your sticker.

Proposed List for January's Meeting Note: Holdover applicants who were scheduled for induction in previous months are not listed here; however, applicants are encouraged to come for vote if within their 3-month window.

Three Visit Rule

We encourage members to bring guests to the Club.

  • All visitors of goodwill are welcomed in a spirit of Gemütlichkeit.
  • Guests, after three visits within a calendar year, must apply for membership to continue entering the Club.
  • The three-visit rule will be waived to guests with membership applications in process.


Daily Book & Pull Tabs

  • The Daily Book may be signed by members only during Bar operating hours.
  • Member must be in the Clubhouse at the time of signature.
  • Winner does not need to be present at the time of drawing.
  • Only age 21 or older may operate the pull tab machine and play the games.
