Veterans Outreach of PA Announcement:
In conjunction the November Military Ball, sponsored by the Hobby Chor, the Club partnered with VOPA (Veterans Outreach of PA) to raise funds for their mission to combat homelessness among Veterans.

We are pleased to announce that we collected $4,000 from your donations. We received the following message from Tom Zimmerman of VOPA:

Dear Liederkranz and Hobby Chor leaders:
VOPA is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, whose mission is to combat homelessness among our Veterans by providing the support and services needed to live an empowered life. VOPA will be building a village of 15 Tiny Homes with a large Community Center to provide transitional, therapeutic housing for Central PA's Homeless Veterans.  As the beneficiaries of your Formal Military Ball fundraiser held on Nov. 13, 2021, sponsored by the Hobby Chor, we are humbled by the generosity of both the Hobby Chor and Lancaster Liederkranz members. The monies raised at the event will be used directly to help offset our site development costs as we hope to break ground within the next year.

A special thank you to trustee, Joe Rauch and bartender, Doug Mann for their involvement and hard work to make VOPA the benefactor of the event.

Please visit us at VeteransOutreachofpa.org and follow us on FaceBook or Instagram (Veterans Outreach of PA) to stay updated on upcoming news.
