2026 Membership Renewal is ENDING THIS WEEK - Below is a list of members who have not yet renewed.

  • If you have decided not to renew, we're sorry to see you leave and we hope that you may reconsider.
  • If you feel your name is listed in error, please reply to this email and we will check our records.
  • If you know someone listed, a family member or acquaintance, please reach out and remind them that renewal is ending this week.
  • A $35/pp reactivation fee will be implemented for renewals made from Mar 1 through Dec 31. Beginning Jan 1, application and voting will be required to re-join.

Seeking Fest Gate Co-Chairs

Our Fest Committee is looking for interested members to co-chair gate management at our four fests: Sommerfest, Parrot Fest, Oktoberfest, and Christkindlmarkt. If this volunteer effort is something you may be interested in, or you if would like to learn more, please reach out to fest chair, Andy Deck for information.

Our Trivia Organizers are Stepping Down

We thank Sandy Stallman and Ron Kurek for organizing our Trivia nights. They both will be stepping down. Sandy will step down at the end of May. Ron will stay on to help with the transition of their replacements. If you may be interested in this volunteer effort or would like to learn more, please reach out to Ron Kurek for information.

Candy Egg Helpers are Needed!


If you would like to help MAKE candy eggs, text organizer, Judy Zodet: 717-203-7448. Please note your name with your text.


Beginning March 1, we will work on Sundays at noon, Mondays 9am & 6pm and Tuesdays 9am & 6pm. We will follow that Sun/Mon/Tues schedule for a few weeks until all eggs are made. It's not necessary to work all days or shifts, come when you can, leave when you need to. Many hands make light work!


Egg Sales will begin on Wed, March 4 and continue through April 2, or until they are gone. Our candy eggs are always a favorite. Get yours early! Proceeds will benefit the Youth Cultural Grant and College Scholarship Funds.

  • $2 for a single egg
  • $10 for a bag of 6

Dining Reservations:

  • Reserve on Touch Bistro. Reservations are preferred and very helpful to the kitchen staff.
  • Reservations may be made up to 2 hours prior to requested time. Your table will be held for 30 mins, after which time it will be forfeited.
  • Tables seat up to 8 people. If your group is larger, simply create a 2nd reservation and note in Special Requests that you would like to be seated together or near each other.
  • While you may arrive early to socialize and enjoy cocktails, food orders will not be taken until the time of your reservation.

Movie nights offer an enjoyable way to immerse in German culture. Films are shown in the ballroom free of charge. Most films are shown in German language with English subtitles to ensure everyone can fully appreciate the story. Accepting Nominations for Officer and Trustee positions for fiscal year, June 2026 - May 2027


Interested members who wish to participate in the upcoming elections are required to submit their Nomination Application by February 27. Elections will take place on May 7 during the monthly membership meeting. Elected officers and trustees will officially take their positions on the Board on June 4.




  • Board of Trustees: Five to seven positions shall be elected to serve a term of one year each. Trustees shall be responsible for the care and upkeep of all Liederkranz property and shall operate the Club’s facilities.
  • Officers: Shall be elected to serve a term of one year and consist of a President, Vice-President, Financial Secretary, Treasurer, Recording Secretary, Chorus President, and Rotating Organizational Representative.
  • Note: The positions of Chorus President and Organizational Representative shall be elected by each active group respectively and not elected by Club membership.

  • Donated items to the Club (clothing or other memorabilia) are not being accepted. Please do not drop items off at the Club.

We're seeking members for the newly formed Liederkranz Blaskapelle (German wind ensemble)


  • Rehearsals: 2nd & 4th Tuesdays on the 2nd floor in the Hobby Chor room.
  • Attendees must be a member of the Club with High School instrument proficiency.

2026 Membership Renewals

We extend a grace period to renew through February. Beginning March 1, a late fee of $35 per membership will be applied. Renew by February 28.


Three ways to renew:

1) In Person at the Club (forms available)

2) By Mail 2026 Renewal Form in PDF format to print & mail.

3) Online with our JotForm & PayPal or Credit Card.


Note: Include a self-addressed, stamped envelope with a mailed form or the $1 mailing option with the online renewal; otherwise, you will need to stop in the Club to pick up your sticker.

Ryan Sheaffer Sings Sinatra at the

Evergreen County Club

One of our sister German clubs, the Evergreen Country Club, will feature our member, Ryan Sheaffer, singing easy listening and dancing sounds of the Sinatra Songbook. Liederkranz members are invited to attend! Doors open 5pm, Dinner service available beginning 5:30. Reservations are not required.

Individuals listed are proposed for membership at our next monthly meeting. 


If any member has comments regarding any candidate which would be helpful in evaluating their qualification, please refer to Bob Kilp, Membership Chair.


Proposed list for March's meeting. Note: Holdover applicants who were scheduled for induction in previous months are not listed here; however, applicants are encouraged to come for vote if within their 3-month window.

Three Visit Rule

We encourage members to bring guests to the Club.

  • All visitors of goodwill are welcomed in a spirit of Gemütlichkeit.
  • Guests, after three visits within the calendar year, must apply for membership to continue entering the Club.
  • The three-visit rule will be waived to guests with membership applications in process.


Daily Book & Pull Tabs

  • The Daily Book may be signed by members only during Bar operating hours.
  • Member must be in the Clubhouse at the time of signature.
  • Winner does not need to be present at the time of drawing.
  • Only age 21 or older may operate the pull tab machine and play the games.
