The Lives of Others (trailer) is a tragic love story set in 1984 with the backdrop of undercover Stasi agents (East Germany’s secret police) monitoring the residents of East Berlin. Stasi captain Wieler is ordered to follow author Dreyman & plunges deeper & deeper into his life until he reaches the threshold of doubting the system.

Run time: 2hrs 13min. Rated R: some scenes contain adult material.
