Club Operating Hours:

 - Mon & Tues 4-10pm, Wed & Thur 4-11pm, Fri & Sat 4pm-12am, Sun closed (except special events.)

Food Service Hours:

 - Wed through Sat 5:00-8:30pm. First Thurs Meeting Night until 7:00pm.

 - Outside food is not permitted at any time on days the Club is serving food.

Dining Reservations:

- Reserve on Touch Bistro. Reservations are very helpful to our servers and kitchen staff.

- Reservations may be made up to 2 hours prior to requested time. Your table will be held for 30 minutes, after which time it will be forfeited.

- Tables seat up to 8 people. If your group is larger, simply create a 2nd reservation and note in Special Requests that you would like to be seated together or near each other.

- While you may arrive early to socialize and enjoy cocktails, food orders will not be taken until the time of your reservation.

Movie nights offer an enjoyable way to immerse in German culture. Films are shown in the ballroom free of charge. Most films are shown in German language with English subtitles to ensure everyone can fully appreciate the story. This gathering is for those members who were affiliated with our clubhouse on Prince St. in Lancaster, to visit and reacquaint.


Lunch will be provided: Homemade soup & sandwich, dessert, coffee or tea. The Bar will be open for service.


If you are at least 70 years of age and were a member or the spouse of a member affiliated with our Prince St. clubhouse location, you are invited. (Under age 70 spouses are also invited.)

Liederkranz members are invited to join the Alleweil Jung as they celebrate 25 years of dancing with a special evening of entertainment, dancing, and food.


Evening's Schedule:

4pm-12am - Clubhouse & Bar Open

4-9pm - Anniversary Event in the Ballroom

4:30-8pm - Meal Service


Cost to attend with meal service - $35/pp (includes sales tax)

Cost to attend without meal service - $20/pp

If you wish to attend this special celebration, please sign up below and choose one of the following options.


A first course salad is included with both meals. Dessert and coffee will be available.


Option 1: Beef Rouladen - Two beef rolls served with a potato dumpling, spätzle (German egg noodles), carrots, and mushroom gravy - $35/pp 
- A traditional German dish of thinly sliced beef rolls. Ours are filled with mustard, bacon, ham, and sautéed onions.


Option 2: Veal Leberkäse - Served with Bratkartoffeln (German home-fried potatoes), sautéed scallions, and an over easy fried egg - $35/pp
- A Bavarian specialty meatloaf of finely ground veal. Ours is quickly seared and topped with an egg.


Option 3: Attending without meal service - $20/pp


Please Note: While the Bar will be open to members for regular bar service on May 9, there will be no regular dinner service. The special meal and ballroom access on the 9th are only for those attending the anniversary event. Members not attending the anniversary event are permitted to bring food into the Bar area on this evening.

2026/2027 Lancaster Liederkranz Officer and Trustee Nominations


Nominating Committee: Mary Broich, Rob Munro, Jeff Munster, Debbie Schaefer, and Brian Zodet.


At the March 5 Membership Meeting, nominations were open from the floor. Additional nominations were accepted through March 19.


At the April 2 Membership Meeting, the Nominating Committee reviewed the nomination process as per Article 10 of the Constitution. The final slate of candidates were presented as follows:


  • Officers: President, Bill Keays; Vice President, Rich Wertz; Financial Secretary, Marilyn Eichelman; Treasurer, Laura Kemmick; Recording Secretary, Vicki Zodet.
  • Trustees: Rodney Ebersole, Anne Jamison, Dave Kemmick, David Kilp, John Stanavage, Mike Trimble, and Matt Trout.
  • Linda Husler will continue to serve as an officer as Chorus President and Bill Eichenser will serve as Cultural Organization Representative (selected by the Hobby Chor.)


No positions are contested.


The Nominating Committee thanks the following members for their service to the Club:

  • Trustees: Mike Eyster for 13 years of service and Eric High for 1 year of service.

Miss Lancaster Liederkranz Cereal Drive


The Miss Lancaster Liederkranz Committee is organizing a cereal drive at the Club in support of Anchor Lancaster through April 9.


Anchor's mission is to offer vital services to individuals facing homelessness and hardship by providing a safe, supportive environment where guests can find the resources and care they need to rebuild their lives.


You may drop off cereal boxes in the lobby of the clubhouse through Thur, Apr 9.


Recommended Donations that Anchor is looking for: Cheerios, Frosted Flakes, Raisin Bran, Froot Loops.

Our Trivia Organizers are Stepping Down

We thank Sandy Stallman and Ron Kurek for organizing our Trivia nights. They both will be stepping down. Sandy will step down at the end of May. Ron will stay on to help with the transition of their replacements. If you may be interested in this volunteer effort or would like to learn more, please reach out to Ron Kurek for information.

If any member has comments regarding any candidate which would be helpful in evaluating their qualification, please refer to Bob Kilp, Membership Chair.

Three Visit Rule

We encourage members to bring guests to the Club.

  • All visitors of goodwill are welcomed in a spirit of Gemütlichkeit.
  • Guests, after three visits within the calendar year, must apply for membership to continue entering the Club.
  • The three-visit rule will be waived to guests with membership applications in process.


Daily Book & Pull Tabs

  • The Daily Book may be signed by members only during Bar operating hours.
  • Member must be in the Clubhouse at the time of signature.
  • Winner does not need to be present at the time of drawing.
  • Only age 21 or older may operate the pull tab machine and play the games.
