Your support is greatly appreciated and vital to the success of this event. Critical areas of volunteer need are Pavilion Food and Parking. Additional event details below.

2026 Membership Renewal Underway

Please assist our data administrator by renewing early. Renewals made by Dec 31 receive a complimentary beverage chip!


Three ways to renew:

1) In Person at the Club (forms available)

2) By Mail 2026 Renewal Form in PDF format to print and mail in.

3) Online with our JotForm & PayPal or Credit Card.


Note: Please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope with a mailed form or the $1 mailing option with the online renewal; otherwise, you will need to stop in the Club to pick up your sticker.

Club Bar & Dining Hours:

  • Bar Hours: Mon & Tue 4-10pm, Wed & Thu 4-11pm, Fri & Sat 4pm-12am, closed Sun unless special event.
  • Food Service: Wed-Sat, 5-8:30pm (1st Thu meeting night 5-7pm)
  • Outside Food is not permitted at any time on days the Club is serving food.

Touch Bistro Reservations:

  •  Reservations may be made up to 2 hours prior to requested time. Your table will be held for 30 minutes, after which time it will be forfeited. TouchBistro
  • You may reserve tables up to 8 people. If your group is larger, simply create a 2nd reservation and note in Special Requests that you would like to be seated together or near each other.

Please Note:

  • No dogs permitted on premises; all inside and outside areas.
  • Be prepared to show your membership card when requested.
  • Ask your guests to be prepared to show their ID. Guests are permitted three (3) visits within a 12 month period before membership is required. Note: the 3 visit rule is waived when a membership application is received.
  • Members are not permitted to enter the kitchen during dinner service hours. Additionally, if you have a project requiring kitchen use, reach out to Dave Kemmick to schedule.

Food Service: Wed-Sat, 5-8:30pm (1st Thu meeting night 5-7pm)

Outside Food is not permitted at any time on days the Club is serving food.

Please Note: At all times, and especially during the busy holiday season, reservations for dinner are preferred and very helpful to the kitchen staff.

Quilt Raffle Fundraiser

Look for our Princess, Petra Stanavage and Princess Committee members at the cookie sales table. They will be selling quilt raffle tickets through December 19.



  • $5 per ticket or $20 for five (5) tickets
  • Only 250 tickets will be sold!

Homemade Christmas Cookie Fundraiser


Stop in and purchase a box! Proceeds benefit the Youth Cultural Grant and German Language & Cultural Scholarship Funds.


Cookies: German Hazelnut Or Lebkuchen (German gingerbread)

Cost: $15 per 1 lb. box


Note: Both varieties contain nuts. Lebkuchen are baked in the German tradition on a thin edible wafer called oblaten.

Schreiber Pediatric Angel Tree

Return wrapped gifts by Thu, Dec 4


Thank you to all who pulled a card from our annual Schreiber Angel Tree. We're happy to report that all cards have been claimed!


Annually, the Liederkranz partners with Schreiber Pediatrics to provide gifts to children being treated at their local center. Programs include education and therapy for infants, children, and adolescents with disabilities, developmental delays, and acquired injuries.

2nd Tuesday of each month


All members are welcomed to participate. Simply bring a dish of your choice for sharing on this evening of pot luck and Gemütlichkeit!


We call it Crock Pot Tuesday, but any type of appetizer, salad, side-dish, casserole, crock pot dish, or dessert for sharing is welcomed. If you have questions, reach out to organizer, Ron Kurek.

Christkindlmarkt

Celebrate the season at our traditional German Christmas Market!

Open to the public -- rain, snow or shine! 


  • Over 30 craft & gift vendors
  • Traditional German food, and beverages outside under the pavilion & tents.
  • Inside seated dining also available in the ballroom.
  • Kinderland crafts & gift purchasing area for children in the Rathskeller.
  • Admission is free!
  • Parking: $10/car at two on-site lots: Clubhouse lot & across the street from the clubhouse.

Kim Reinfreid is looking for donations for Christkindlmarkt Kinderland.


This area at Christkindlmarkt will offer items for children to select as gifts for family and friends with suggested donations in the range of $0.50 to $5.00. Proceeds will be donated to the Youth Cultural Grant Fund.  


New this Year! There will be a Silent Auction for two donated items:

  • A large wooden doll house
  • A large bin of Lincoln Logs

Bid sheets will be located in Kinderland by the Christmas tree. Winners will be announced at 5pm at the close of Christkindlmarkt.



  • Currently, Kim has placed a donation box in the foyer.

  • Christkindlmarkt Kinderland on Dec 14 will also include a kinder craft area organized by Carolyn Santos.

Hobby Chor Holiday Sing Along

The Reading Liederkranz G.T.V. Edelweiss dance group extends an invitation to Lancaster Liederkranz members to attend their Schafkopf Tournament & Dinner. A fun, casual evening with great food, friendly competition, and gemütlichkeit! 


Don't know the Bavarian card game Schafkopf? No worries! There will be a dedicated workshop at 2pm for anyone who wants to learn the game and maybe even play in the tournament!

    $5 tournament registration fee (payable at event).

Lancaster Liederkranz College Scholarships 


The Liederkranz offers German language college scholarships or German cultural college scholarships to high school seniors who are affiliated with the Liederkranz as children or grandchildren of Liederkranz members. Application and interview are required.

Three Visit Rule

We encourage members to bring guests to the Club.

  • All visitors of goodwill are welcomed in a spirit of Gemütlichkeit.
  • Guests, after three visits within a calendar year, must apply for membership to continue entering the Club.
  • The three-visit rule will be waived to guests with membership applications in process.


Daily Book & Pull Tabs

  • The Daily Book may be signed by members only during Bar operating hours.
  • Member must be in the Clubhouse at the time of signature.
  • Winner does not need to be present at the time of drawing.
  • Only age 21 or older may operate the pull tab machine and play the games.
