Last week we welcomed Sheryl Johnson, the founder of Hearts 4 Minds, an organization that raises awareness of mental illness in the community. Johnson shared her story and how Hearts 4 Minds came into existence. We need to break the stigma of mental illness, as it should never be used to define someone. She gave statistics of how mental illness affects everyone of us and ways we can help. The organization is starting to get the word out through murals which have a QR code attached. the QR code is linked to not only “awareness” but also, a crisis help line pops up.

This week we have Michele McManamon with Operation New Uniform. A veteran's organization that helps veterans transition from military service to a useful and rewarding career. We also have a Member Hangout this Thursday at Dave and Buster’s. See everyone at lunch on Wednesday!
