This week is our Public Service Awards meeting! At this special meeting we will recognize the Sheriff Department's finest employees of 2021. Sheriff Mike Williams has confirmed his attendance as one of our Guests of Honor. This is a great opportunity for us to show that SBMC Backs the Blue! Please feel free to bring a guest as well!

PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Last week we welcomed Brett Martineau who spoke to us about his journey to becoming a sportscaster, the current sports landscape in Jacksonville, his views on making downtown Jacksonville a destination, and why local sportscasting works in Jacksonville when so many other cities have gone away from it. He also reminded us all that AM 690 is now our local ESPN radio affiliate and asked that we tune in and call with questions! If you aren’t aware, SBMC has a lot of events coming up this fall, starting this month, so check out our calendar and I hope to see you soon. While you’re waiting for a hangout, golf outing, or civic project why not join us at our next meeting when Charlie Cofer will speak.

MONTHLY GOLF OUTING

Join us for our monthly Golf Outing at Windsor Parke Golf Club!

Windsor Parke Golf Club is a Semi-Private, 18-Hole Championship Golf Course designed by Arthur Hills. The course has hosted qualifying events including; the US Open, US Amateur, US Publinks and US Senior Amateur events.

Windsor Parke Golf Club is also recognized by the NGCOA as a “Beginner Friendly” golf course – the first certified club in Jacksonville.

WE WILL NOW BE HAVING A $25,000 HOLE IN ONE COMPETITION!
