PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
Last week we had Gisele Carson, an Immigration Attorney speak to us of the difficult and lengthy journey a legal immigrant must pass through to immigrate to the USA today. This was no ordinary immigrant either. This gentleman, Adam, she called him was coming here to be the CEO of a company opening an office here, bringing jobs for American citizens. It took the better part of a year for him to get here, and he faces 7 more years to become a naturalized citizen. Much different than the journey my grandmother faced when she immigrated from Italy more than a hundred years ago!
