The salad bar offers many vegetarian and gluten-free options. A protein is served every other week and alternates between steak, pork, and chicken .

PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

This past week we had the privilege of hearing from Karen Brune Mathis, Jacksonville Daily Record, on much of the growth and business affecting the greater Jacksonville area.

Jacksonville has just exceeded 1 million in population and is growing by leaps and bounds. The apartment market seems to be taking over the entire area. Fast food restaurants are remodeling and making smaller dining rooms and larger drive-through‘s. Warehouses and storage facilities are thriving, as well as small office space rentals.

There's a new restaurant in town called the Sugar Factory which tends to have celebrity sightings. I looked up the reviews and can’t wait for the 24k Gold Burger with gold dusted fries or maybe the King Kong Sundae ($99) which serves up to 12 people. That location is opening in Town Center.

Speaking of Town Center, the fourth phase is currently underway.

So, you can see Jacksonville is on its way to being a major player in Florida.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

Attention Bankers!

As a standard operating procedure, the club is to request proposals for certain services on a periodic basis. We are now requesting proposals for banking services for the Club.

To propose, the service provider must be a member of the Club.

Please contact our Treasurer, Mark Wilkinson at mark@wilkcpa.com for details of the request for proposal for services.

Deadline for submission: January 31, 2023

NEW MEMBER ORIENTATION

If you have not yet gone through your new member orientation and been officially inducted, please join us this Wednesday at 11:15am at Fogo De Chao.

This opportunity is free to all members in good standing and gives you the chance to speak about your business, family, interests, or anything else you would like to "spotlight" for five minutes. You can place business cards, flyers, or informational materials on the tables to showcase your business.
