PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Last week we welcomed former NFL Tight End, Kyle Brady who gave an entertaining talk on his past career,  he tied the "Immaculate Reception" of Franco Harris to the principles of life he learned from Coach Paterno and all his subsequent coaches. Mr. Brady spoke about the lessons he learned from these coaches and how they can be applied to any profession or life in general, and how they have influenced his life after football.

WEEKLY MEETING LOCATION UPDATE

Attention SBMC Members and Friends, 

Due to delays at San Jose Country Club, we will be continuing our weekly luncheons at Epping Forest Yacht & Country Club through the month of January. 

 
JANUARY GOLF OUTING

Join us for our January golf outing at The Palencia Club in St. Augustine!

The golf course practice facilities are heralded by one and all for the spacious 10,000 square feet of putting surfaces, 400 yard double-sided driving range along with a short-game area to fine tune the chipping and bunker play.
Established in 2002, the golf course had earned the honor of being an Audubon Sanctuary honoring the beauty of nature, pristine views of magnificent marsh and river views as well as blending gracefully into the Palencia "best of class" community.

You may reserve your tee time by contacting the SBMC Golf Chair Matt Vallez at  golf@sbmcjax.com. If you are registering for a foursome, please include the names of all your members.   

Blind Draw
$5 blind draw and we play from the white tees modified best ball, 1st shot is a community ball on 3 & 4 par holes, 1st & 2nd are community ball on all 5 par holes.
 
Looking forward to meeting you in person at the bar to collect your $5 for the blind draw.
