PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

This week we welcomed Cheryl Canzanella who shared her heartfelt and personal message about the problems that the use of opioids causes the American public. Did you know that many, if not most, people who abuse opioids start using them as prescriptions and the addiction to opioids runs the gambit from the poorest to the richest – including possibly our business associates and customers? It is up to us as friends and business owners to help stop the stigma of addiction and to help our families, co-workers, employees, and business associates recover.

Next week we will welcome a panel of our own members and marketing experts who are going to talk to us about effectively marketing our businesses within the constraints caused by the current political and economic climates. This is another presentation you will absolutely not want to miss!

As most of you may know, we lost one of our own, Fred Allison to a battle with cancer. We will be accepting donations up until February 3 for his widow, Barb to help offset funeral and celebration of life costs. If you would like to make a donation, please see Mark Wilkinson at our next meeting, or email him at [email protected].
