Last week we learned a lot about Jacksonville’s first 199 years and plans for commemorating its 200th year in 2022. This week will be a busy meeting, we will have our annual wine tasting, we will celebrate our volunteer of the quarter for the third quarter of 2021, and we will hear the nominating committee’s slate of officers and accept nominations from the floor ahead of our annual meeting December 1, 2021. I hope to see many of our members at Doubletree downtown for this fun, and important meeting. |

Additionally, the board has decided to move locations for our lunch meetings next year. We will be moving to Fogo de Ciao located at the St. John’s Town Center beginning January 19, 2022. This location has a great A/V setup and private room for us. Just as importantly, it will allow us to keep our lunch prices similar to this year. We can expect the “salad bar” which is really much more than a salad bar every week along with a chicken entrée the first week of the month and a steak entrée the third. If you have had the opportunity to eat at this restaurant you know the food quality is excellent and I hope the move further into the Southside area will allow more members to attend our meetings. |

We had a great day at this year's Veterans Day Parade!

The Golf Club at North Hampton offers a traditional Scottish links-style course in Fernandina Beach, Florida. CHRISTMAS KIDS SHOPPING SPREE |
Join us at Target on San Jose Blvd, Mandarin, December 11th, at 6am, to accompany over 24 deserving children through the aisles of Target to help them shop for their families and themselves. We should be finished by 7:30am. There will be donuts & coffee for our volunteers.
Speaking of volunteers...We need YOU! We need 1-2 volunteers for each child. Contact Rene Zook renezook@kw.com or Ben Williams ben@dps-jax.com if you can volunteer that morning. You can get up early once a year for the kids!!
**We collected $390 last week plus an additional $250 that Brandon secured from a grant. Do you want to help sponsor more kids??? Sponsor a child at $150 or contribute whatever you can so we can help more children. Please do this by next Wednesday.
Like last year, Ben will be giving each of the children a laptop, the Grinch, Woody Sitterson (shhhh), will be on site and we are looking to make this year's event even better than last.....with your help!!! This is an event you don't want to miss!

From now until the end of the year, we will be having a friendly competition to see who can bring in the most new members! With a minimum of two new sign ups, the winner will receive a $250 cash prize. Bring your friends and co-workers to one of our regular meetings to show them the benefits of becoming a member!

This opportunity is free to all members in good standing and gives you the chance to speak about your business, family, interests, or anything else you would like to "spotlight" for five minutes. You can place business cards, flyers, or informational materials on the tables to showcase your business.
