Dear Boys & Girls Clubs of San Dieguito Friends and Families,
We hope you are well and staying safe and connected during these times. While we have paused our programs and events for the health and safety of our youth, families, and staff, we are committed to resuming our normal services as quickly as possible. We continue to monitor re-opening guidelines and are working with state and regional authorities and public health officials to prepare for a safe reopening. We are working on our Safe Reopening Plan provided by the County of San Diego and have ordered Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for our staff, to protect our staff and the youth and families we serve once we are able to reopen.
While we are solidifying our plans for the reopening of each of our programs, our team has continued to connect our youth and families to critical local resources, making sure they have the technology needed to continue their education, and providing virtual tutoring, virtual music lessons, activities, and workouts to keep our kids happy and healthy. Please be on the lookout for communications from your program leadership in the coming weeks and understand it will be different for each of our departments, including use of our pools once local authorities allow.
