Memo:  Important Notice from AutoIMS Related to Coronavirus

As public concerns about the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) increase, AutoIMS has implemented guidance for employees and contractors, consistent with CDC guidelines. Listed below are some of the steps we have undertaken that pertain to our employees, offices, data center, and finally the changes to our visitor policy:

Employees, Office, and Datacenter Preparedness:

1. We distributed a memo (listed at the bottom of this memo) company-wide on March 3rd based on guidance from CDC.

2. We have cleaning supplies, hand sanitizers, etc. in the high traffic zones in our office.

3. We have educated our managers to ensure they send employees to work from home if anyone reports flu-like symptoms resembling coronavirus.

4. We have mandated any employees suspecting coronavirus infection to stay home for the requisite 14 days (as per current guidance).

5. We are deeming travel as non-essential for this month. Also, any business-critical travel has to be cleared with the CEO.

6. As part of our BCP, we have the technological capability to work from home for an extended period of time.

7. Our production data center has already shared its readiness for the COVID-19 situation.

8. Building management has taken steps to provide hand sanitizer in the lobby.

9. Office cleaning company is using virucide to help reduce the spread of viruses.

10. Our management team is actively monitoring the evolving situation and will take action as needed.

Visitor Policy Change:

Out of abundance of caution, and with the safety of our employees, customers, and you in mind, AutoIMS is asking our third party providers and consultants to avoid all non-essential onsite visits to AutoIMS facilities.

If you have recently visited a AutoIMS facility, or are planning an upcoming visit, additional considerations apply: if you, a family member, or someone you have come in close contact with has traveled to a Level 3 travel restricted country (currently Iran, Italy, China and South Korea) in the last 14 days, or exhibited symptoms associated with or has tested positive for the COVID-19 virus, we ask that you disclose this information to your AutoIMS contact and postpone any in-person meetings or site visits until after you are symptom free for 14 days.

Thank you for your understanding and support in this matter. AutoIMS's Business Continuity teams will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and we will update you when this added guidance is no longer needed. Please ensure that your organization cascades this message to any employees or subcontractors that support a AutoIMS engagement.

AutoIMS - Employee Memo COVID-19

The Georgia Department of Public Health reports that there are 2 confirmed cases in Georgia and the risk of COVID-19 for Georgians is low at this time. While this information is reassuring, we understand that there are concerns about this new virus. Additionally, the recent announcement from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) encouraging communities to prepare for the spread of COVID-19 in the U.S. has raised new questions. As always we recommend that people stay home when sick, cover coughs and sneezes, and practice good handwashing hygiene. These recommendations are especially important during cold and flu season.
Below are everyday actions you and your family can take to stay healthy.
* Sneeze and cough into your elbow or cover with a tissue. In other words, keep germs off your hands. Put used tissues in a wastebasket and then wash your hands.
* Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing. Use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer (with at least 60% alcohol) if soap and water are not available.
* Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth. Germs spread that way.
* Don't share personal items, including toothbrushes, towels, cups/glasses, utensils, etc.
* Clean and disinfect objects and surfaces that are frequently touched, using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe following the instructions on the label.
* Try to avoid close contact with sick people.
Remember Auto Auction Services has the ability to work from home when needed. We will keep you updated.
If you have specific questions or concerns, please speak to your manager.
