Hello everyone:
At last week's NAPO-Chicago Chapter meeting, we participated in a service project at the Chicago Furniture Bank, an amazing organization that supports the clients of hundreds of service programs in the Chicago area.
"The mission of the Chicago Furniture Bank is to provide essential furniture to individuals and families in need." (from the CFB website)
CFB accepts donations of furniture to repurpose for people in need at their location, through furniture pick-up and through Honest Junk Company, their Junk Removal Service. Please check out their website to learn more about their good work and to find out how to donate.
Earlier this year, I was asked to create a Clutter 2.0 presentation. A company where I had presented professional development in the past were asking for MORE! More ideas and suggestions, MORE!
The premise of the presentation starts with this:
I truly believe we start our organizational projects with the best intentions; I always assume positive intent! And we also know that life gets in the way, and we get in our own way, too.
This week, we will look at how to be a project manager, and next week, we'll look at people managment. Read on to learn more in "Clutter 2.0: Your Clutter Needs a Project Manager (and That's You!)"
Our next Admin Night is Monday, November 9, 6:30 - 8:30 pm at Spoke and Vine Wine Bar, 95th and Kedzie in Evergreen Park. RSVP to 708-620-8877 or @ info@spokeandvinewines.com. And, I hope to host a virtual session like FLF during our Admin night, stay tuned for more details!
