Student Advisory Council Application Deadline | March 11th, 5:00 p.m.
The College of Business is seeking current CoB majors to serve on the 2022-2023 Student Advisory Council (SAC). Council members play a major role in the College as they serve as student ambassadors at several CoB and JMU events and also act as liaisons with the COB Board of Advisors. Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Lead prospective student tours
- Attend all Open House and CHOICES events
- Attend events with the Board of Advisors

Ryan Shuman is March’s Beta Gamma Sigma Member of the Month! Ryan is majoring in Quantitative Finance, Economics, Mathematics, and Statistics, and minoring in Honors Interdisciplinary Studies and Business Analytics. Incredibly, he still has time to serve as the Vice President of Beta Gamma Sigma and the President of the Madison Investment Fund! Ryan has interned at Freddie Mac and was a member of the JMU Team who won the State Round of the 2022 CFA Research Challenge. Congratulations Ryan!
