TEN TOES DOWN: The Evolution of the Cortez
An Exhibit by Theyshootn & Old Denver
Join us Saturday, October 5th at Fice Gallery (2654 Walnut St.) from 3pm-9pm as we pay homage and explore the history of one of the most iconic sneakers ever designed, the Nike Cortez. A staple of west coast style, the Cortez has a long narrative spanning from the Olympics to the silver screen; from gang territories to the pages of Vogue. We will be featuring old and new works from several Denver-based artists and photographers, as well as creatives from Los Angeles and Phoenix, and much more. Stay tuned for more details, including a full artist lineup.
