Elections: Submit your Nomination by
Sunday, May 1, 2022
|
|
This year the positions of CoCEAL Communications Director, Treasurer, and President-Elect are up for election. I invite each of you to actively engage in this process by running for a CoCEAL Executive Leadership position or nominating a rising colega(s) into one of these roles! Culturally, it is sometimes difficult to see ourselves in these leadership positions and at times imposter syndrome keeps us from believing we have the capacity to serve in these roles. Each of you has the capacity and skills to serve as a leader in this organization! If you have any questions or need someone to talk with about serving in either of these roles, please know I am here to support and answer any questions you may have as you are considering these leadership opportunities.
Sincerely, Joel Orozco Almeida, Past-President

Momentum builds behind a way to lower the cost of college:
A degree in three years
"Like many high school seniors, Grant Austin Robert Simms was bombarded with marketing materials from colleges that showed euphoric students enjoying athletics, extracurricular clubs and the excitement of living on campus. What he really wanted to know was how long his degree would take and how much
it would cost."

Flexible Work is Not the New Norm, one university says

CoCEAL is committed to providing our members to the latest job openings in the state of Colorado. Please know we are working hard to have the latest postings updated weekly so that members can have access to job openings in real time. Concurrently, this job board would not be possible without the participation of our member institutions and other organizations that are committed to the diversification of their workforce and the hiring of latinx people. Please feel free to share the google form link below with your Human Resources departments and other organizations that would like to post job announcements on our job board.
