Clean our Contra Costa shoreline on September 16
Join thousands statewide for California Coastal Cleanup Day 
Protecting the beauty and health of our valuable shoreline is a community responsibility. Every year we pick up hundreds of pounds of trash and debris that accumulates on our Richmond shoreline, threatening bird and sea life.   And we have fun doing it!

This year's California Coastal Cleanup is Saturday, September 16. This is a great opportunity for the community to work together improving our treasured shoreline. 

I'm proud to sponsor the Coastal Cleanup at the Richmond Marina for the 27th year, in partnership with the nonprofit Watershed Project and the City of Richmond. I hope you'll join me. 

At noon, we'll have a free, healthy lunch for all volunteers.

There will also be cleanups at other West County locations. Details below:

WHAT: Supervisor Gioia's  27th  Annual Coastal Cleanup 

September 16, 2017, 9 am - 12 pm  Free lunch at noon.

Friendship Park, end of
