• Over 400,000 infants have been successfully treated with the STARband helmet, which was the first cranial remolding orthosis with FDA clearance available to orthotic and prosthetic practitioners in the U.S. and around the globe.

• Only ONE helmet is required throughout the entire treatment. This is a significant cost savings to parents and payers compared to other providers who may suggest the use of multiple helmets.

• Conservative treatment options are encouraged as well. This includes re-positioning and increased tummy time.

• We utilize the STARscanner and Specra scanner systems to scan the patient's head. These scanners provide precise 3-D head shapes which allow us to generate accurate data during the assessments. This information is used to determine whether or not orthotic intervention is needed. It also allows our trained practitioners to identify mild cases where orthotic intervention is not recommended. Through the use of these systems we are able to generate documentation to share with other healthcare providers, such as Pediatricians and Physical Therapists.

• We are contracted with a variety of insurance companies, including Medicaid. We also have information on grants which are available to qualifying patients.
