Coastal Racing's newest recruit Ryder Lafferty came out swinging to start his 2022 campaign. Contesting the Pro 1 class at the AMA National Enduro opener, Lafferty soared to 2nd O/A in Sumter.
With six (6) tests on the day, total race time tallied up to well over 2 hours. Lafferty proved to be a front runner all day long winning one test and finishing Top 5 in 5/6 tests. Lafferty will continue to build on this success as we head to Union, SC for the start of the GNCC Series with the rest of the Coastal Racing team.
“My race was pretty good. I didn’t make any changes to my bike all day long and I felt comfortable in the South Carolina sand. I had a couple mistakes in the first section, getting stuck in a vine, then in the fourth section I had a crash getting together with a lapped rider and losing some time. Overall, I’m happy to put in a good result to start the year.” - Ryder
