  • Volunteers in San Diego removed nearly 9,000 lbs of trash and 12,500 lbs of invasive plants from Manzanita Canyon over the past 6 months, part of an urban watershed project with Extension Specialist Theresa Talley. Learn more
     
  • Extension Specialist Carolynn Culver received funding to to conduct research on detecting domoic acid in crustaceans. How to catch and eat California crab safely
     
  • With support from NOAA, Extension Specialist Joe Tyburczy and collaborators at HSU and Lisa Wise Consulting received a grant to work with residents of Eureka and Shelter Cover to develop Fishing Community Sustainability Plans, ensuring the long-term survival of fisheries and the coastal communities they support.
